Last night I attended the Estuary Dungeon Tuesday Jam, and I have to say it was by far my favourite Shibari event. The perfect balance of tie alongs and free play - I learnt so much and walked away on a total high!
The smaller capacity makes it a lot less intimidating for those new to Shibari, it was more intimate and there was a lot of opportunity to ask questions. It also made the jam a lot more playful. There was so much fun and laughter!
Thanks so much for creating and holding such a safe space for such a diverse range of people. Loved every second!

I have attended several events here and have enjoyed all of them. Everyone is very welcoming and you couldnβt wish for better hosts
One of the events I attended was the Shibari 101 course. I learnt so much and the time just seemed to fly. Both Bex & Jon are amazing teachers. Not only in terms of the practical skills but also their central focus on safety and consent. This combination creates a really safe environment in which to explore and discover. Looking forward to attending more events in future.
Thank you both for all the time and effort you put into creating such a positive, versatile and safe space in which people can explore their interests without fear or prejudice

The estuary dungeon is a fantastic space, we attended the wax workshop. While we have done wax play before in private (it's a very relaxing experience akin to a massage) we really wanted to learn from someone with a deep knowledge on this subject. This has allowed us to try out new things and learn some great tips on cleanup, materials, safety and incorporating other elements. When arriving we were welcome by Bex and Faith who was teaching us for this course, both were lovely and welcoming. We sat down on the floor and got some cozy pillows and watched the introduction and teaching before being able to take one of the 3 massage tables to try it out for itself. What was great is everything was provided for us so it's excellent if you really have not experience on what to buy. We learnt lots on that course and it's great that there is a safe space being run locally and not in London that we can easily go to in a space that isn't overly crowded. Looking forward to many more courses there

Spent the weekend with GothKinkster at the dungeon for a 1-1 Shibari workshop and it was an amazing experience. The tutorials was top class and the atmosphere was so welcoming. Both hosts was friendly and very informative, I have walked away with new knowledge and something I can use going forward. Highly recommend this course for anyone who wants to learn.
Thank you for teaching me new things and exploring a new kink that I really enjoyed.

So started on my shibari lessons journey with Bex and for me that i have always wanted to do some 121 with someone starting from scratch, really appreciated the comfortable area in doing it and learning something I've wanted to do for a long time, Bex is an amazing teacher and makes it very easy for you to learn. Looking forward to more sessions with Bex
I hired out the Dungeon for the evening for me and my partner and was greeted warmly by John who explained everything. The area is spacious and a really relaxing area to play. I will definitely look at booking again π -

Such a great place to play, I always feel so welcomed and made to feel comfortable, everyone's really lovely. My favourite bit is definitely the spanking bench! Love feeling like I can be my naughty self!

I recently attended both the shibari 101 & 102 classes with my boyfriend as we are fairly new on the scene. And they were brilliant, the 101 class went through from the very beginning, even going over different types of rope. By the end we had ties that we could take away and perform by ourselves and could even start getting creative with them. The 102 class built upon this and has now given us even more options for ropey fun, making this bunny girl very happy. The classes are small groups, so it's easy to see, ask questions and follow along. The instructors were also super friendly, as were the other group members and the studio was nicely decorated, comfortable and had everything we could need. I would highly recommend π

Bex made me feel so welcome as this was my first time at the Estuary Dungeon & Shibari Lounge & first time experiencing bondage- I had never thought about doing it until we chatted. Bex made me really relaxed when first met, she is such nice person and explained everything that went on and explained what to expect as a rope bunny. It is such warm lovely place it makes you feel instantly comfortable.
I enjoyed it so much that I'm now hooked on it, which I did not expect- this is all down to Bex and the way she is as person, personality & being very professional but friendly as well.
Such great place & great experience I had there, canβt wait to go back!

Visited Estuary Dungeon & Shibari Lounge for a private tying session with John. Before starting, John made sure I was comfortable and talked through various aspects. We had a few different types, John was great at building up the session and responding to my reactions. The space is lovely. 100% will be back soon x

For anyone still wondering if they should take one of these shibari courses then you definitely should.
Not only do they go through everything you need to know from a technical point of view. But they also teach a lot about safety, communication and the relationship, between the rigger and the person being tied. That and the need for after care that you simply can't get learning at home from a book or YouTube.
As a trans woman they have made me feel welcome and helped me to make the adaptions to the ties for my unique body in a respectful and non judgemental way.
They have definitely helped myself and my partner deepen our relationship and grow closer together.

We had a fantastic time at Shibari Lounge and will absolutely be returning.
It's a smaller space than most, which makes for a quieter less intrusive surrounding and enables you to sink into your own scene even easier. It's beautifully put together; the bamboo stack, the ropey books on the shelves, the furnishings all making a cosy but rope focused vibe. The hosts balanced friendly with non intrusive perfectly. Loved it. 5*
