Formal Shibari Education
& Ongoing Study
My rope practice has been shaped through structured study, workshops around the globe, and continued independent learning. I value formal teaching environments as a way to deepen technical understanding, refine communication, and build a sustainable, risk-informed approach to rope.
This page outlines structured, in-person shibari education undertaken since April 2023. It reflects formal training and stylistic study that inform my rope practice and teaching approach. It is not an exhaustive record of informal practice, jams, or self-directed research.
I approach rope with the mindset of being forever a student, prioritising curiosity, reflection, and ongoing growth.
