The space is designed primarily for rope work, creative practice, and photography, while also being suitable for movement-based disciplines such as yoga, pilates, and martial arts, as well as private sessions.
Photography equipment and selected studio tools can be made available for hire, depending on the booking.
Located just outside London, the studio offers a controlled, private environment for practitioners, educators, and creatives looking for a focused and considered space to work in.
The Space
This is a private, and intimate purpose-built shibari and photography studio. The environment is calm, contained, and adaptable, allowing the space to shift between technical practice, creative shoots, and small group teaching.
Lighting, flooring, and sound can be configured to suit different disciplines — from low-light, sensory aware yoga sessions to professionally lit photography setups.

Multiple floor setups (tatami, EVA foam matting, and rugs)
Private, discreet environment
Zoned Sonos sound system allowing different audio levels across the space
Tea and coffee facilities, with kitchenette including fridge, kettle, and microwave

Hourly Hire - £35
Flexible use of the studio for shorter bookings, a space to practice, one-to-one sessions, photography, or small group work. Suitable for practitioners who need a private, fully equipped environment without committing to a longer block.
(Minimum booking of 2 hours)
Half-Day Hire - £125
Ideal for workshops, extended sessions, photoshoots, or collaborative work.
This option provides enough time for setup, delivery, and pack-down within a single booking window, while maintaining a focused and uninterrupted environment.
(Up to 4 hours)
Full-Day Hire - £225
Best suited for full workshops, creative productions, or multiple back-to-back sessions.
Allows for a more relaxed pace, flexible use of the space, and time to tailor lighting, layout, and equipment for the day.
(Up to 8 hours)
Studio Hire Terms
The following guidelines help ensure the space runs smoothly for everyone.
Rates may vary depending on the nature of the booking, number of attendees, and any additional requirements.
Selected items may be available for hire — including photography lighting, backdrops, creative props, massage table, BDSM items, and gym or movement equipment. Availability and any additional fees can be discussed as part of your enquiry.
Rigger, model, or creative support may also be available for photography and content bookings.
Setup and pack-down should be included within your booking time. Please allow enough time for your session and resetting the space.
The studio is best suited for one-to-one sessions or small groups of up to 14 people, depending on the activity. Please include attendee numbers when enquiring so the suitability of the space can be confirmed.
Furniture and equipment can be repositioned where needed, but the space should be returned to its original layout at the end of your booking.
Hirers are responsible for their own professional insurance where applicable.
Hirers are responsible for ensuring appropriate experience and safety when using suspension points or specialised equipment.
The space should be left in good condition on a leave-as-found basis. Additional cleaning fees may apply where required.
Music can be played through the Sonos system at a reasonable volume. Please respect our neighbours.
The studio is a private, self-contained space and bookings are not shared with other hirers.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due prior to or on the day of the booking.
Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the full booking fee being charged.
Bookings that run beyond the agreed time may be charged at the hourly rate.
